Question by mozart32983: What role does sex play in a christian relationship?

I'm a strong christian and with that I hold to the conviction that you shouldn't have sex before marriage. I was with a guy who was also christian and I thought I was going to marry, he ended up cheating on me with my "friend", dumping me and had sex with her like 2 weeks later. Do guys respect that conviction or is it just a negative side effect?

Most guys wont want to wait till marriage to "try out the goods". However, there are a few, so you just have to keep looking. By the way, even after marriage, true christians should only have sex with the intention of procreating. Sex is not for fun in the Christian's eyes.
