Will it be safe for me to have unprotected sex?

I have just started taking birth control pills for about a week now.My boyfriend and I want to get a hotel and have unprotected sex. When we get the hotel I would be on the pill for 2 weeks.I take it regularly as instructed too and haven't missed one pill.I was thinking about using spermicide as a method of backup. I want to know if it will be safe for me to have unprotected sex and not to worry about being pregnant.
Very Worried need some thoughts
